Geoff is the Partner that leads Deloitte’s EMEA Operations Excellence practice. He specialises in Operational Design and Improvement, with a particular focus on cross functional process management and continuous improvement. He has worked in more than 30 organisations who have deployed major change programmes including Lean and Six Sigma in a range of financial service, consumer and manufacturing clients.  He has led work in UK, US, Switzerland, across EU, China and Singapore. Geoff holds a degree in Economics, and a Diploma in Advanced Strategy (distinction) from Oxford University’s Said Business School and has published numerous papers on Operations. 

Additionally, Geoff has 15 years of operational experience in manufacturing and logistics including, factory set up, six years running logistics operations. As Order to Cash Process Director for a UK manufacturing/consumer goods company he  led an end-to-end reengineering programme that included synchronisation of retail, manufacturing and supplier supply chains. The programme succeeded in reducing working capital to below zero, and increasing product availability. 

Geoff has also been the Six Sigma Director in GE. He led the Six Sigma Quality Programme across 4 factories and the suppliers, establishing a results driven structure for 300 engineers/managers and 560 projects. He was also involved in the launch of other GE initiatives such as Work Out, Best Practices and Change Acceleration Process.
